**About The Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting vulnerable people across West Dorset. The post is the first point of contact for people calling the Bridport Local Office, which is located in Bridport Community Hospital. By its nature the role is office based, though there will be opportunities for limited homeworking.
Those around you are highly professional, friendly and very supportive. You will be an essential part of a team providing support to some of the most vulnerable people in society. The job satisfaction in this role will be huge.
**What you will be doing**
You will be providing business support to the Adults teams in the form of:
- dealing with enquiries from clients and other members of the public, directing them to appropriate services, providing information, handling routine enquiries and giving appropriate guidance
- contacting clients, partners and other organisations to acquire or provide information
- handling incoming and outgoing post
- using the records system to input and retrieve client information
- ordering stationery and other items as required
- issuing cash to clients
- general administrative duties as requested by the team
**About you**
You will be a highly competent administrator, able to operate in a fast paced team. Excellent customer service and team skills are essential for the post. The ability to work fast and accurately are pre-requisites for the role.
