Finance Transactions Officer required to join an NHS organisation based in Lancashire. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Transactions Officer to join their dynamic and growing team on a full-time, fixed termbasis.
As the Finance Transactions Officer you will report to the Finance Transactions Manager, supporting them in ensuring all aspects related to creditors and payments, alongside the various duties below:
**Key responsibilities of the Finance Transactions Officer**
- Review invoices on a daily basis ensuring they are coded and correctly routed
- Perform regular statement reconciliations
- Maintain Supplier Accounts within the payables ledger
- Prepare the weekly submission of the BACS's Runs
- Monitor disputed invoices taking actions to deal with them
- Ensure payroll payment requests are input accurately into the ledger by required deadlines
- Liaise with internal and external audit acting as a point of contact
**Required skills and experience of the Finance Transactions Officer**
- NVQ Level 3+, AAT or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of the processing of documents relating to goods and services supplied on credit
- Experience in analysis, investigation and resolution of financial queries and discrepancies
- Experience in computerised purchase and sales ledger processes and systems
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise responsibilities
- Demonstrates initiative whilst able to take direction
