Finance Transactions Assistant required to join an NHS organisation based in Lancashire. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Transactions Assistant to join their dynamic and growing team on a full-time, fixedterm basis.
As the Finance Transactions Assistant you will report to the Finance Transactions Officers, supporting them in all aspects related to debtors, creditors, payments and receipts, alongside the various duties below:
**Key responsibilities of the Finance Transactions Assistant**
- Maintain supplier and customer accounts within the debtors and creditors ledgers
- Undertake proactive collection of debtors
- Resolve routine debtor queries from internal and external customers
- Monitor invoices ensuring that agreed payment terms are met and income due is obtained
- Support the monthly reconciliation process
- Deal constructively with debtors and creditors to maintain relationships
- Liaise with members of the Financial Advice Team to ensure finance budgets and reports are produced
**Required skills and experience of the Finance Transactions Assistant**
- Studying towards an NVQ, AAT or CCAB qualified, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of the processing of documents relating to goods and services supplied on credit
- Experience in computerised purchase and sales ledger processes and systems
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise responsibilities
- Demonstrates initiative whilst able to take direction
