**Supervisor / Cleaning Operative Required (Working Supervisor Position)**

**3 hours per day - 15 hours per week**

**18:30 - 21:30 Monday to Friday**

To be responsible for the cleanliness of the site on a day to day basis, undertaking supervisory duties for the cleaning staff employed in the site, as well as taking an active role in the cleaning undertaken.
- Responsible for the cleaning service within the contract specification.
- Have full working knowledge of the areas in the building which are covered with the contract specification.
- Responsible for work allocation to the cleaning team, keeping within the specified detail of the contract and working principles.
- Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and Company regulations, wearing company uniform as specified.
- Control and issue cleaning material ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.
- Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service.
- Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if at all possible.
- Cover roles during periods of holidays and sickness.
- To induct new cleaning staff and to identify their strengths and weaknesses
- To organise deep cleaning to be undertaken during holidays
- To organise training for cleaning staff as appropriate.
- To cover for staff absence as necessary.
