Charity Secretariat Administrator
Applications are invited for a Charity Secretariat Administrator to support the day-to-day administration management of a number of healthcare member associations. An interesting and varied role, that offers the opportunity to gain wide-ranging experience of committee support and governance processes within the charity sector, would suit an experienced, highly organised administrator with a keen eye for detail.
You will contribute directly through supporting the Trustees and Subcommittees to function effectively to deliver on their objectives, and the wider objects of the association.
In addition to providing high-quality committee support, key responsibilities will include: diary management for all committee & subcommittee meetings, drafting and circulating of member communications, assisting with annual membership renewals and providing confidential assistance in a range of governance matters. The role will also involve some event management and finance administration. Request the job specification for a full list of the responsibilities that are associated with the role.
This post would suit someone who has previous administrative experience, ideally including supporting committee work in the charity sector, but who is also keen to develop their skills further. To thrive in this role you must enjoy working in a small team and be able to manage various administrative processes with limited close supervision. You will have exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload. There will also be the opportunity for hybrid working, giving you the flexibility to work both in the office and from home.
