Senior Account Handler

We are recruiting a Senior Account Handler to join one of our key clients, who are recognised as a local employer of choice Based within stunning, modern open-plan offices, the Senior Account Handler will be working Monday to Friday 9-5. After an initialtraining period, you will be offered the option of hybrid working, 2 days a week working from home.
The successful Senior Account Handler will be rewarded with 25 days’ holidays plus Bank Holidays, a contributory pension scheme, death in service, healthcare and annual pay reviews. The company are based close to Hamilton Square train station, so easilyaccessible from Liverpool, the Wirral and Chester.
**Your Responsibilities:

- To deliver the best possible customer service, in all circumstances.
- To manage dormant accounts to completion. Making logical decisions as and when necessary, on the best course of action to keep a site moving either towards completion or cancellation taking into account the Insurer requirements and treating customers fairlyobjectives.
- Work and liaise with key decision makers across all sections of the company to create a process suitable for the processing of dormant accounts therefore effectively managing the entire administrative lifecycle for dormant sites, including cancellations,retention, fees etc.
- To correspond directly with clients, Developers or administrators, in difficult circumstances to assist them in completing their sites, ensuring all incoming enquiries are followed through to completion
- To liaise with Clients, Sales Account Managers, Underwriting and Technical Team to ensure the delivery of the best service and management of the account to consistently meet with the clients’ requirements and exceed the clients’ expectations.
- To manage accounts ie. send file reviews, update plot information and issue certificates.
- Manage and issue any documentation that need manual intervention as the document deviates from the standard.
- Updating and amending the administration system where required.
- To issue all documentation required by the client within internal KPIs.
- To provide all round support to Account Handlers and Administration Support roles as and when required.
- To support the company with the implementation of new computer system (or update), working closely both with the IT department and the business delivering User Acceptance Testing. To maintain and update relevant databases as required, ensuring total accuracy
- Continually look for ways to improve processes and increase the satisfaction to our clients.
- To comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and FCA Rules.
**Your Skills and Experience**
- Excellent knowledge, understanding and experience of systems and processes
- Experience of working within an administration team, operating similar processes and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Demonstrable ability to use own initiative and flexible in personal approach.
- Demonstrate ability to create processes and improve on them.
- Ability to make decisions and communicate those decisions when they may contradict client desires.
- Problem solving experience.
- Ability to motivate self and mentor others.
- Knowledge of FCA regulations relating to insurance.
