Here at Edgeview homes we are seeking a resolution manager, to join the team. We are a leading care provider for people that have mental health issues, learning disabilities and/or complex needs.

**Hours** : Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 (some flexibility may be required). Flexibility to travel to any of our 7 homes on a daily basis is a must as this role has no fixed abode. Locations are: Wolverhampton, Oldbury, Kinver, Redditch, Birmingham and Dudley
- To be the decision maker (rather than advisor) at all employee conflict meetings including disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working and other consultation meetings with advice and support from the HR Manager;
- To ensure compliance with employment law and any other relevant legislation with advice and support from the HR Manager;
- To support staff on the ground by holding regular drop in sessions to improve staff morale and provide an ear for staff concerns and issues that they feel they cannot raise with their unit manager;
- To be the point of contact for any whistleblowing concerns raised in the workplace and be responsible for formulating and action plan as to how the whistleblowing concern can be resolved;
- To Manage and implement effective informal or formal workplace forums for important issues such as client care, health and safety and other business critical issues;
- Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement;
- Working with the HR Director, maintaining and reviewing policies and procedures. Implementing new policies, procedures and processes including revised contract terms where necessary.
- Dealing with complex HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
- Assisting the HR director in the implementation of specific HR related projects including due diligence for TUPE transfers when applicable
- To audit and inspect a unit’s recruitment practices, staff knowledge and abilities against CQC standards and suggest action that needs to be taken to address these concerns;
- Undertaking mandatory CQC and Care sector training even if not relevant to your job function to comply with sector specific legal requirements.

**Person specification**
- Strong experience in management and an understanding of general day to day staff issues
- The ability to show empathy and a caring nature and attitude towards our clients whilst making all decisions
- Superb communication skills
- Desirable experience in working in regulated sectors ideally in health and social care
- Desirable knowledge of HR law, rules and codes of practice (CIPD qualification are advantageous)
- Experience of dealing with senior and difficult individuals
- Ability to build rapport quickly with unit managers, employees and clients
- Commercial awareness of how decisions can affect the business as a whole and financial implications
- Demonstrable experience in assisting with TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects
- Full, clean driving licence is essential
