**Rough Sleeper Accommodation Worker**
**Location** - Maidstone House, Maidstone Road, Leicester City
**Hours** - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Between 10am-6pm
**Salary** - £24,050 - £26,722 per annum (RFJ 4)

**The role**

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding homelessness services within the Specialist Housing team we are looking for someone to deliver our Rough Sleeper temporary Accommodation Service in Leicester City.

We have recently refurbished four self-contained fully furnished flats in Leicester, to provide temporary accommodation for individual’s to make positive changes in their journey to independence with the support from a dedicated worker.

If you want to make a real difference for individuals, who have spent time sleeping rough, who have faced challenges and who need support from someone with a passion to support and make a difference

Our Rough Sleeper Accommodation Service will provide intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who need a stable home from which to rebuild their lives. Our customers will have experienced homelessness and chronic health and social care issues, facing many barriers, at emh we strive to make a real difference by delivering psychologically informed services.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with people within the homeless pathway/entrenched rough sleepers/vulnerable people. You will possess excellent communication skills to be able to provide advice and support for our customers whilst showing empathy, resilience but also having the ability to deal with difficult and demanding situations.

**Qualifications**

Educated to GCSE English and Maths level C is desirable
