The Service assesses people with memory and/or cognitive problems in the context of a suspected dementia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a service ensuring timely diagnosis of dementia and supporting people diagnosed to live well post diagnosis.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit two fulltime 37.5hrs Band 6 Senior Practitioners who can be Mental Health Nurses or Occupational Therapists by background to join the Birmingham and Solihull Memory Assessment Service. This role encourages a high level of autonomy and clinical reasoning and participation in service design, audit and reflective practice. The post holder will need to be motivated, passionate about Dementia care and be prepared to work as part of a team that are striving for excellency. They will need excellent communication skills, the ability to be flexible, work proactively and work well as part of a team.
