We are committed to improving the quality of our education, assessment and student experience and our new structure, which allows for specialisms will enable this more effectively. This has resulted in an increase in the number of roles in our structure and a number of new roles being created, including this role.
**What is the job?**
The Programme Lead (PL) is responsible for the overall coherence, delivery, planning, evaluation, and enhancement of the CA Qualification, including the creation of a programme aligned to the requirements of regulatory bodies.
The PL will be instrumental in delivering a scaffolded active learning programme(s) which includes digital delivery, opportunities for direct interaction with tutors and the inclusion of student and firm support and is responsible for raising awareness and understanding of the need to provide pro-active support in the current environment and to satisfy learner needs. It is essential that the PL works collaboratively with the Subject Managers on programme delivery and assessment Managers to ensure the programme prepares and supports learners through formative and summative assessments.
**Key aspects**:
- Develop, implement, and manage programme delivery, working collaboratively with the Subject Managers, Customer Experience (CX) team and Digital Team to ensure consistency with delivery standards, student experience and drive continuous improvement. The PL must be future focused and keep up to date with industry innovation and technology in learning delivery (pedagogical and technological developments) and adopt a proactive approach to promoting a coordinated and innovative pedagogic practice across the programme to enhance overall outcomes and support future growth.
- Provide leadership, direction, and communication to Subject Managers to ensure the quality of learning, teaching and assessment provides a stimulating learning experience for the students.
- Ensure that the programme provides learners with a high-quality learning experience and are formative and summative assessment ready, whilst managing stakeholder priorities, competing demands and be able to provide practical manageable solutions when priorities change
- Line management of a number of Tutors based in the teaching team and embedding professional development and a continuous improvement culture across the team.
**Who are we looking for?**
- You will be an exceptional leader and have a real passion for innovative and relevant learning delivery, truly focused on enhancing the student experience.
- Ideally, you will have experience in programme delivery within a learning function of higher education, a professional body or training provider, alongside an understanding of current best practice in learning delivery (pedagogical and technological developments).
- You will be a great collaborator, skilled communicator and enjoy working cross-company and with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will value diversity, be an innovative thinker and have a growth mindset as you will be leading, championing, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the learning delivery methods to support changing customer needs and ensuring the integrity of the level/qualification is upheld. As you will be responsible for the people management of a number of Tutors, previous line management experience would be desirable.
**Where is the job?**
Our Head Office is based in Edinburgh. We are working in a hybrid environment at present and as such you will need to be willing and able to travel when required to the Edinburgh office
