Service Charge Analyst

We are working with a Housing Association based in Croydon looking for a Service Charge Analyst.
Minimum of 1 years' experience of service charges within Social Housing and Leasehold Management, a comprehensive knowledge of statutory/legal requirements in relation to service charges and excellent problem solving skills.
Key Duties include:
Ensuring that all relevant financial controls are maintained and correct procedures followed, complying with current legislation.
Developing and maintaining good professional working relationships with customers and partners.
Assisting in the development of the service to improve customer satisfaction and business effectiveness and consistently meeting and improving on performance standards for the team
Responding to enquiries, customer complaints and correspondence, liaising with and supporting other staff on service charge procedures, issues and queries.
Calculating tenant and leaseholder service charges in accordance with legislation and organisational policy.
Assisting with maintaining accurate records of sinking funds and depreciation for equipment replacement and future maintenance.
Analysing and authorising expenditure and coding of invoices, calculating service charge estimates to agreed timescales and assisting with the preparation of management accounts and annual budgets.
Reconciling service charge related control accounts.
Assisting with the preparation of service charge budgets for new schemes liaising with internal and external clients to ensure management agreements & leases are appropriate.
Assisting with the preparation of annual service charge statements to agreed timescales, and provide information for auditors as required.
Providing information for tenants and leaseholders in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and attending resident group meetings as required.
