An excellent opportunity has arisen for a “can do, will do” applicant for the role of Assistant Security Team Leader at one of Unipart's high profile sites.

**Assistant Security Team Leader duties include, but are not limited to;**
- Supervision of staff, training, schedules, ensuring duties are completed
- Providing an onsite, professional security presence.
- Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behavior
- Providing protection for customers, property and staff
- Carry out patrols and search and emergency procedures including report writing
- Provide a professional and exceptional service to maintain the security on site
- Support the site Security Team Leader & Manager with day to day operations of the site and the officers on the allocated site.
- Collate and produce reports as necessary.
- Be a positive influence in driving and promoting a culture of engagement and collaboration ensuring the working environment is challenging, rewarding and fun.
- To collate reports and provide analysis of data from the site as and when required.
- Innovatively and proactively identify ways to improve the site security.
- Understand site SLA’s and ensure compliance identifying and escalating areas of non-compliance.
- Manage resource planning for the site escalating additional manning requirements as required.
- Collate and escalate all Health & Safety issues reported out of hours.
- Be conversant with and ensure SOPs are adhered to.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Group Security Management Team.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- SIA license essential.
- Previous Security Supervisor experience preferred.
- CCTV license preferred but not essential.
- The ability to lead other members of the team to ensure all aspects of the site security operations are fully complied with.
- A basic understanding of GDPR.
- A good level of IT skills in MS Office especially Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of IP Technology and signaling communication methods desirable but not essential.
- Attention to detail and methodical approach to work is required.
- An ability to act calmly and make decisions in difficult / crisis situations.
- To maintain the company’s confidentiality at all times.
- Working generally Monday to Friday 14:00-00:00hrs, 50hrs per week, with the flexibility to support the Site and Business when required.

**We Offer**:

- Contract of 50 hours per week minimum (extra hours available),
- £11.58 per hour.
- Working Monday to Friday late shifts
