**We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team and assist the Home Manager as a team leader.**

As a care team leader you will draw upon your extensive expertise and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for assisting the Manager and higher Management with the running of all aspects of the home. You will be required to ensure the home runs as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, care excellence, parallel with the commercial success of the home, driving the home forwards and maintaining our great standards.

**The ideal person will have the following**:

- Minimum 1 years Assistant Manager/team leader/Management experience.
- NVQ 3 or above with all or most other training in date. (Or working towards)
- Proven track record of success and leadership
- Demonstrating of leadership and management skills to assist the Manager and Home
- Demonstrating of self sufficient standards of performance
- Someone who has ideally been at their current place of employment for at least 2 years.
- Engage in training and development of their leadership and management style alongside the Home Manager
- Confident approach with everything they do.

**Your daily tasks will include**:

- Care Planning and reviews
- Safe recruitment of staff
- Training and development of staff
- Effective management of occupancy
- Maintain premises and grounds to a high standard
- Maintenance Management and liaison with the maintenance team, plumbers, engineers etc
- Maintain compliance and audit systems
- Ensuring the well being of the residents.
- ROTA Management
- Ensuring a good working relationship with staff and management.
- Ensuring the home scores an overall good in an inspection.
- Safe Management of risk
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are met
- Ensure that there is a robust infection control policy with procedures followed by staff
- Organise and participate in meetings
- Liaise with health care professionals, relatives, operations management, accountants and payroll.
