We’re looking for a Human Resources Officer to join an established SME manufacturing business based in Rochdale. As HR Officer you will manage HR activity across the site and be someone who enjoys getting involved with a variety of tasks.

**About The Job**
- You’ll join as the sole HR / Office Manager.
- You’ll deliver all administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle such as recruitment, onboarding, leavers etc.
- Ensuring accurate recording of data in a timely manner.
- You’ll be responsible for compiling monthly payroll information for the payroll provider and for balancing the pension spreadsheet.
- Supporting the Company’s absence procedure by running reports and maintaining contact with absent employees.
- You’ll produce other management information such as headcount reports on a regular basis.
- Other administrative duties will sit within this role, for example, organising corporate gifts, ordering staff uniforms and supporting with purchasing.
- Most importantly of all, you’ll be on hand to any employees for advice or just a chat.
- This role will be based onsite 5 days per week.

**About You**
- You will have experience of working in a similar role in a similar environment.
- You’ll have up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation; you do not need a CIPD qualification.
- You’ll enjoy bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Building rapport with colleagues is key.
- A confident person, you will be able to offer your opinion in a diplomatic way.
- You’ll be approachable, someone who others feel comfortable talking to.
- Due to the nature of the role, you’ll have strong attention to detail.
