Alchemy are proud to be partnering with an established logistics provider based in Potters Bar who are seeking an experienced Group Management Accountant to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Prepare monthly management accounts for designated companies, which must be supplied by Group deadlines.
- Assisting the Management Accounts Team with balance sheet reconciliations and analysing reconciliations.
- Review and develop uniform procedures for the Revenue and Purchases cycle, while maintaining internal controls and maximising efficiency.
- Prepare management account analyses and aid management in recognising patterns.
- Oversee allocated personnel and ensure that they receive adequate training in order to reach their full potential.
- Keep track of the Group's VAT compliance.
- Create a group management reporting system.
- Ensure that the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974 is followed.
- Ensure self-compliance with ISO 9002 Quality Assurance requirements.

PROFILE OF SKILLS
- Hands-on processing experience in the past.
- Advanced Excel and general PC skills.
- An aptitude for problem-solving.
- Project Management experience is desirable.
