**Summary**:
The company deals with International / Domestic courier and parcel deliveries including freight forwarding services. They are an authorised reseller utilising the World's major courier services. The end customer is able to choose via a market leading portalwhich carrier they would like ship with based on price, speed of delivery or convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the high level relationships with the all the carriers
- Negotiating carriers' rates
- Developing ongoing relationships with the carriers
- Managing and improving service and efficiencies of the carriers, enhancing and broadening the portfolio of carriers
- Producing in-depth analysis of carrier performance and producing reports
- Internal relationship development with all Head Office departments and the UK franchised network

Key Skills/Experience:

- Worked in a similar role and have managed the carriers/ delivery partners across all products
- Experience of developing current and future delivery requirements from an operational and sales perspective.
- This role will include managing the carriers and the Freight-desk so parcels is essential and freight knowledge is desirable

Experience of contract negotiations
- Great communication skills, with experience of presenting to stakeholders
- Excellent report writing and analysis skills
- Industry/ecommerce expertise
- Attention to detail is critical
