Our client is a global logistics provider offering a range of freight solutions who are looking to add an Ocean Export Agent to their Manchester team. As an Ocean Export Agent you will support customers throughout their journey from initial booking to costingof files once delivery completed. The company are a market leader in the industry and this is an exciting opportunity to join their team with opportunities for long term progression.
The role will be working to provide operational support to customers during the shipping process including assisting with quotations and initial bookings; customer documentation; monitoring shipment progress; processing customs clearances and managing customersthroughout. This role requires a high level of customer service along with the ability to work alongside a variety of stakeholders within in the business. The role will require a high level of administration to ensure files are kept up to date and can be correctlybilled at the end of process.
