Join our Commodities and Global Markets business as an Analyst in our Commodities Financing team focused on Agricultural markets.
Based in London, you will join a team with an active financing presence in the EMEA region. The team engages in the agricultural markets primarily by way of structured physical repos and intermediation of real commodities.
You will be responsible for supporting the execution and managing complex transactions as part of a team specialising in the provision of funding to producers, traders and consumers of agricultural commodities.
Eventually, you will be expected to originate and structure new deals.
Your main activities will involve deal management, structuring trades, risk assessment, negotiation, documentation & ongoing relationship management within a deal origination team. You will have to demonstrate the ability to think independently to provide innovativeproducts and solutions to existing and new clients and counterparties. Our success is built upon delivery of a first class service to our clients and we do that by understanding their needs and delivering in a timely way and with accuracy.
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Financial literacy including understanding of financial products, risk management and hedging
- Ability to handle data across various systems with a high degree of accuracy and speed
- Knowledge of traded markets and especially commodity markets would be useful
- Strong commercial drive and outcome focus
