**Day and Night Porter at No.1 by GuestHouse, York.**

No.1 by GuestHouse is the best place to work in hospitality, in the great city of York, and we want YOU to be part of our fantastic Welcome Team As Porter you will help our guests have the best arrival experience, your duties will include:

- Helping housekeeping strip bed linen
- Moving linen to and from floors, ensuring our housekeeping team always have linen and towels available
- Emptying bins and generally helping keep the hotel look clean and tidy
- Collecting guests luggage from the station on our pick up bike yes you get to ride our pick up bike, and be the first person our guests meet
- Welcoming guests to the hotel, and showing them to their rooms, helping them with luggage and other belongings
- Elements of cleaning and general supportive work may be required
- Relief cover for our Night Reception team, so that means covering their annual leave, by working night reception shifts
- Other duties are included, but the above gives a general feel for the role

**Hourly rate of £10.50 per hour, 20-30 hours a week, weekend work required. This role needs the flexibility to work both day shifts and night shifts. Please note we will always give rest between working nights and days.**
