Domestic Porter

I am recruiting for Domestic Porter to join a dynamic and expanding Healthcare team based in York city center.

**IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE**

Various shifts available to choose from the below shifts:

- **Monday to Friday only** - 07:30 -14:00 / 14:00 - 20:00 / 17:00 -22:00.
- OR you can work **weekends only** - 07:30 - 14:00 / 14:00- 20:00

**The Domestic Porter position requires you to**:

- Manage and deployment of all portering staff, liaising and negotiating with internal customers to meet service demands
- Responsible for prioritising of portering work and scheduling of urgent work
- To draw up weekly work rotas, manage annual leave and arrange staff cover/overtime allocation as appropriate, dealing with staff shortages
- To implement and recommend service changes to portering services
- To provide a detailed shift report utilising Trust's TI systems and record keeping
- Identifytrainingneedsforstaffandundertaketrainingasappropriate
- Order staff uniforms and protective clothing
- Monitor medical gas supplies and re-order to meet anticipated requirements
- Maintain the security of keys and keep accurate up to date records
- Monitor staff performance, carry out IDR's and return to work interviews
- Take appropriate action in emergency situations to support security, fire and emergency services
- Identity, organise the maintenance and repair of for faults and equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
