**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and assisting with food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced culinary environment while supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.

**Duties**
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept tidy and hygienic in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the cooking team during busy service periods by providing timely assistance as required.
- Help with the storage of food items and ensure that stock is rotated appropriately.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and organising supplies in the kitchen.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of culinary practices are preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, contributing positively to a collaborative environment.
- A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
