As part of our continued growth, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team at the newly refurbished **Nechells** store.

**Position Overview - Croydon Store**

This role is based at our **Croydon store** and is essential to supporting warehouse operations and managing stock movements. Key responsibilities include processing internal orders and inter-branch transfers through our warehouse management system (**Korber**), and conducting cycle counts across the warehouse and shop floor.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is key, as the role may involve shift adjustments and occasional participation in stock counts outside regular hours.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Customer Service & Product Handling**
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a high-quality shopping experience
- Maintain fully stocked shelves and timely replenishment
- Rotate stock correctly to minimise waste
- Display products according to company standards
- Ensure product care to avoid damage
- Maintain accurate and compliant pricing
- Follow food safety protocols for chilled and frozen items
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe

**Stock Management & Control**
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies
- Identify and resolve shortages, damages, or data errors
- Collaborate with managers and departments to address stock issues
- Label and store incoming stock correctly
- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc physical inventory (PI) checks
- Respond promptly to internal and external stock queries
- Coordinate movement of stock to/from off-site storage

**Health, Safety & Team Support**
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards immediately
- Operate equipment safely and responsibly
- Assist customers and support other departments as required
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations
- Replenish stock as needed
- Carry out any other duties as directed by management

**Personal Development**

- Follow stock control procedures to maintain accuracy

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Familiarity with warehouse systems (Korber experience is advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible and adaptable working approach
