Data Quality Officer

Regular validation of system errors, this will require knowledge of the Trust systems, the causes of the errors and resolving the issue. Regular validation of the common user errors, including investigating cause of error, resolving conflicting information and sourcing data from a range of sources. Ensure data correction is undertaken to guarantee accurate patient data is held on the Patient Administration System and on clinical systems for reporting and other purposes. Review data extracts and validate event dates against patient care information held electronically and within paper records to determine the correct information to be recorded on the Patient Administration System and on clinical systems.
Validation of end of month submissions to ensure all pathways are correct. To ensure relevant Trust policies are implemented, maintained, monitored and reviewed across all sites. Any other duties/responsibilities appropriate to the role, as delegated by their line manager.
