**About the Role**

Creating Connections older peoples service Creating Connections is a warm and welcoming service for Worthing residents aged 65 and over. The service aims to support people to remain independent in their own homes and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation which can have a significant impact on older people’s health and wellbeing.

We run Sunday lunches twice a month at two of our care homes (Gaer Gwent and Bradbury)

**Tasks & Duties **times - including filling table condiments and wrapping cutlery as well as wiping down tables at the end of service
- Meet and Greet
- Serve meals and drinks
- Load dishwasher
- Tidy up
- Set up for next session
- Sell raffle tickets
- Support team leader

**Support Offered**

You will be supported by the volunteering team and the unit that you will be volunteering for. Depending on your role there will be some training that we ask that you complete. This is outlined below
