As a Volunteer Treasurer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of the branch. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Management: Looking after the charity's money by following NCT guidance and policies on spending. Email and Admin: Managing email correspondence and handling general administrative tasks related to finances. Budgeting Support: Helping volunteers create and manage budgets. Support Disabled The role can be done completely remotely at whatever time suits the volunteer, with a central volunteer support team to assist with anything they need. What skills do I need? What's involved? Keeping accurate financial records Ensure the NCT financial system is up to date Input financial data into the system Provide accurate financial records to report to the branch Process all income and outgoings. Are you organised, proactive, and enjoy working with numbers? We're looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to help manage the finances of one of our local branches. This is a remote role, so you'll be communicating regularly with volunteers in the branch you're registered with, which may not be in your local area. We hope this flexibility suits you You'll need to be a confident communicator and take initiative to ensure everything runs smoothly. Good organisational skills Attention to detail Confidence with numbers An open and approachable manner. You will receive excellent support from a special volunteer regional support team and a volunteer support team based at head office. An excellent training programme.
