We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced and qualified professional to join our team as the Head of Business/Economics at a prestigious school in Westminster. This full-time position will commence in September, and we are looking for an outstanding individual who is passionate about leading the Business/Economics department and delivering an exceptional education to our students.

As the Head of Business/Economics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the department's vision, overseeing the curriculum, and managing a team of dedicated educators. You will have the opportunity to design engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and collaborate with other department heads to enhance the overall educational experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic leadership to the Business/Economics department, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality curriculum.
- Lead a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with other department heads to design cross-curricular projects and enhance the overall educational experience.
- Stay updated with developments in the field of business and economics education and implement best practices in teaching and learning.
- Manage department budgets, resources, and equipment.
- Ensure the smooth running of the department, including managing timetables, organizing trips, and coordinating events.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialization in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Significant teaching experience in Business/Economics, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate educators.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the business and economics curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
