Sox Compliance Project Manager

**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a SOX Compliance Project Manager on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

**Role Responsibility**

Support the end-to-end IT General Controls (ITGC), ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Review and assess control deficiencies, develop remediation plans and determine the adequacy of mitigating controls.

Conduct risk assessments based on qualitative and quantitative factors to determine quarterly and annual SOX scope.

Lead process walkthrough meetings; create and maintain process flow diagrams, narratives and Risk Control Matrices (RCM)

Prepare reporting on SOX scoping, testing status and observations for stakeholders, including process owners, management, leadership and the Audit Committee.

Helping technology leaders to improve control documentation and assist with control remediation plans.

Work with Booker control/business functions to implement an ongoing “business as usual” approach to Sox compliance.

**You will need**

Subject matter expert on internal controls, SOX compliance and risk management.

Experience in drawing up detailed test plans and carrying out the testing.

Excellence in building positive relationships with business stakeholders

Proven to be adept at managing multiple pieces of work with an ability to anticipate roadblocks before they occur.

Excellent communication skills.

Analytical thinking with proven problem-solving skills.

Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements.

Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
