**This is a full-time role on a hybrid working model, that can work flexibly both from home and in our office at Isle of Man Business Park.**

At Capita Life, Pensions & Specialist, we work in partnership with over 20 well known UK and international financial services providers to administer life, savings and pensions policies on their behalf. We're able to deliver complex processing while maintaining quality, and provide a wide range of services including underwriting, back-office administration, claims management and technical support. We are looking to recruit hardworking, committed, and enthusiastic individuals, who can demonstrate they have the relevant skills required to undertake this role. The role will involve a lot of administrative and financial work and may require you to quickly switch priorities between workloads. You will be expected to be able to work well independently but also as part of a team.

Our full time Accounts Administrator will be responsible for the daily banking of cheques, reconciliation of various bank accounts, issuing of payments by cheque, BACS & CHAPS transfer.

Most of the incoming work has daily regulatory deadlines so speed, accuracy and time management is essential to the role.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You must be a committed and flexible team member who can provide additional support as and when required and you will work closely with your team as well as the other teams in the business.
- By working in the regulated industry, you must ensure that services provided to customers (internal and external) are consistent with all relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Adherence to data protection guidelines is always required.

**What you’ll need**
- Previous finance, or office administration experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and quality management ‘Get it right first time’
- The ability to use Microsoft Office Applications relevant to the role at the required level
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
- To be hard working and have excellent time keeping and reliability
- Excellent listening skills
- The ability to identify potential problems and escalate where necessary
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using a variety of communication channels
