As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Welcome Managers, you’ll be part of the dedicated welcome team at Wray in the South Lakes portfolio which includes many lovely places such as Tarn Hows and Hill Top, which on occasion you may also be asked to support.
Positioned on the west shore of Windermere, Wray offers fantastic access to the lake, beautiful walks, and interesting exhibitions in our Victorian-Gothic castle. With such a wonderful setting, Wray offers a great backdrop to work in.
We are invested in our people and we hope this role will enable you to learn, discover and develop. As part of your role you will be offered training and support and we will work with you to suit your needs.
What you'll be doing:Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listening to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, which can include being present in the outdoors to help people in the car park, or sharing information about our exhibitions in the castle, or helping to grow support for the National Trust by encouraging visitors to become members or donate.
