Carbon60 are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Co-ordination Engineer to join a very well-known Aerospace MRO company based on the outskirts of London.

The position is being hired due to continued expansion plans for this business and as part of this large investments have been made within the businesses plating/surface technology division. This role will assist with the implementation of new equipmentand processes within this division.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, Coordinate, implement and finalise projects ensuring specifications and deadlines are adhered to.
- Develop and track the implementation of project plans,
- Manage budgets and costings.
- Develop each project individually to ensure mínimal disruption to production areas that will continue to function during implementation phases.
- Coordinate a team of multi skilled engineers.
- Maintain close relationships with all key stakeholders and senior managers.
- Provide forecasts and resource requirements.
- Prepare reports, presentations and set KPI's for the senior management team.
- Develop new processes and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

**Experience Required**:

- Experience of leading, coordinating or managing complex projects ideally manufacturing, aerospace and chemical engineering.
- Previous experience/knowledge of electroplating and or surface technology.
- Experience working within an aerospace EASA Part-145 environment is highly desirable but not essential.
- Ability to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
- Ability to lead projects from conception through to implementation and completion.
- Knowledge of extraction systems, cooling, heating, pipework and chemical tanks.
- Experience leading teams of multi skilled engineers.
- Ability to use IT systems such as MRP & ERP.
- Ability to present data and project milestones.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent within a relevant field (engineering, chemical)

**Desirable experience**:

- PMP, Prince 2 certification.
- LEAN Manufacturing certification.
