We are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Celebrations team. With a lead buying role in the Celebrations team, you’ll translate the strategy and oversee its execution so that it delivers real growth for the ranges. With a nice mix of Branded and Own Brand products, understanding what makes a great range, paired with strong negotiation experience and a genuine passion for product, could this be the perfect next step for you?

Responsible for product proposition and planned executions across all channels, you’ll collaborate with design, global sourcing and suppliers to achieve optimum cost and profit. You’ll act as a coach and leader, so your ability to build relationships and partner across functions internally and outside the business, will be key.

**Who you are**

First of all, you’re a successful range builder and change agent who adapts to different styles of working whilst influencing and encouraging others to do the same. You’ll also ensure your team take your lead in keeping their focus on the customer and making decisions with them in mind.

You’ll have a strong commercial awareness and digital experience, backed by sound buying in an agile environment, plus an understanding of project management. You should know all about systems and processes in a complex multi-channel space and have a good grasp of the legal side. Financially astute and happy under pressure, you’ll also be able to analyse complex data and identify market opportunities. Drive, motivation and initiative will be key.
