Altum Consulting are looking for a Finance Transition Lead to manage a major global SSC transformation programme for a world leading Technology business.
Initial**12-month FTC**
Hybrid working with 2/3 days per week in London
**The role**:
The Finance Transition Lead will work closely with the Finance Transformation Director, Chief Transformation Officer and Regional Director of Operational Finance and this role will Transition all Processes and Services into a SSC or Centre of Excellence - this covers 30+ markets and the whole EMEA region. This is the early stages of a multi-year programme. Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Provide effective project management of market transitions through implementation of agreed change management methodologies.
- Maintain the market transition plan and builds out status reports as per the defined reporting cycles in the program
- Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the execution of project task
- Actively identifying, prioritising and mitigating project risks and issues
- Identify project stakeholders, and communicate project progress, risks and issues regularly
- Monitor project spend against approved budget, anticipates shortages, and resolves financial issues
- Analyse project internal/external dependencies to ensure that critical path is defined and maintained
- Engage proactively with the market finance teams to ensure communications, HR & process changes are executively effectively
- Engage proactively with the receiving service centre to ensure resources are onboarded & trained appropriately as well as ensuring technology, infrastructure & governance plans are in place
- Closes and transitions project to operations; verifies stakeholder satisfaction with project outcomes
- Carries out project activities using a standard project management package
**To be considered for the role we require the following skills**:

- Qualified Accountant with strong knowledge of finance towers
- Deep experience with shared services across the whole SSC lifecycle (strategy, design, implementation, optimisation)
- Expertise in one or more specific SSC topics, e.g., target operating model design, service management, performance management (SLA, KPI)
- Process knowledge very helpful - R2R, O2C, P2P
- Experience in moving multiple FTEs from different locations to a shared environment
- Experience managing service providers in SG&A transformations of large scale and complexity
