**Site Financial Controller - Grimsby - £75,000 - £80,000 & Bonus**

Chase & Holland are working exclusively with this forward thinking, market leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Grimsby to recruitment a Site Financial Controller. Reporting into the European Head of Finance for this international business, you will be a key member of the site leadership and European Regional Finance Teams in delivering a low cost, sustainable site and exceptional stakeholder returns. **Responsibilities will include**:

- Take responsibility for overseeing the delivery of accurate, well understood financial statements for UK operations and consolidated legal entity
- Leading recurring financial planning, such as budgets, forecasts and long range plans
- Support the Site Director and work with the wider leadership team in driving strategy and maximising performance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX compliance and IFRS/ GAAP standards
- Lead the Management Accounting, Costing, financial reporting and transactional accounting teams within the UK operations
- Produce and drive action on monthly reporting and analysis covering variances, metrics and KPIs
- Oversee the preparation of financial performance variance analysis and bridges that connect operational performance to financial results
- Perform financial modelling on capital and other investments to ensure alignment with strategy and appropriate returns
- Drive continuous improvements in all aspects of performance within the finance area
- Actively participate in global, European and cross functional digital transformation project and lead local implementation
- Qualified Accountant, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA with an impeccable track record up to this point
- Friendly, energetic, professional, well rounded individual with strong financial aptitude and excellent planning skills
- Approach things with an outward mindset
- Exceptional ability to successfully lead, motivate and develop a broad team
- Demonstratable understanding of accounting principles effecting profitability, balance sheet and cash flow performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead the delivery of rational reviews, identify financial anomalies and financial anomalies from normal financial data trends
- Experience of ERP systems, planning and consolidation software
- Ability to lead change management initiatives
- Ability to build relationships and work as a cross functional finance business partner
