The job is a Trainee Sales Executive and this is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your foot in the door and learn how to be a Field Sales Executive, how to develop customer relationships and upsell and cross sell products. You will be on the phone A LOTbut if you like talking to people and developing relationships then this could be great for you. You will be doing data cleansing calls and fact-finding calls to find out who the right person would be to talk to for the Senior Field Sales Executive.
Applicants for this job should have excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills as the job requires describing products or services in order to persuade a potential customer to make a purchase or place an order. Competency in computer useis vital for this position as well as the ability to use initiative and think quickly in order to qualify the lead and ensure the customer has the best service.
**Trainee Sales Executive responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with existing customers
- Data Cleansing calls and fact finding calls.
- Cultivate new leads within the sales territory
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, andmarket conditions.

To be successful as a Trainee Sales Executive you will need:

- The ability and desire to sell
- Previous telesales, telemarketing or call centre experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- A confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- A high degree of self-motivation and drive
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment

In return you can expect to receive a basic salary of circa £24,000 plus bonus depending on your previous experience and a clear career development path into field sales if you can demonstrate that you can master the telesales role. The field sales role thencomes with a pay rise, excellent commission structure and an Audi A3 car
