If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a team as a Teaching Assistant at a Specialist School in Wareham, Dorset.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant position within this Specialist School include supporting students with a diagnosis of Autism between 16 to 25 years.

The unique curriculum includes a range of activities such as Horticulture, Pottery, Equine Therapy, Farm School, Online Retail, and Life Skills. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a 1-1 basis or within small groups, helping students to engage with these activities and develop their independent living skills.

This is a permanent position, offering a pay rate of £80 - £85 per day. We also offer a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract from day one, providing you with stability and the opportunity to showcase your skills.
