**Role: Compliance Officer
**Salary**: up to £38k depending on experience + exceptional benefits
Hours: 35 per week (Monday-Friday)
Location: Knutsford - hybrid working currently 1-2 days per week**
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance and Audit Officer to work for a leading organisation based in Knutsford, Cheshire.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Management of entire agency audit programme (yearly schedule, ensuring client compliance standards are met, internal reporting)
- Training and management of offshore team, including managing team queries, and updating on changes to contractual and legal compliance standards
- Responding to internal and external requests for support on compliance issues/audit
- Modern Slavery: deal with external companies to ensure compliance to legislation. Create and issue new Modern Slavery Statement annually
- Main point of contact for sponsorship of both programs, including attendance on regular update calls.
- Maintain GLAA licence and all aspects of GLAA supplier compliance
- Maintain Sedex membership, including SAQ completion, and all aspects of Sedex supplier compliance
- Manage F2F auditors as and when required
- Work closely with Head of Corporate Services to ensure plans/targets are met as per corporate roadmap
- Support and manage complaint investigation/resolution when required
- Manage and maintain corporate complaint register
- Managing continuous improvement alongside the Head of Corporate Services
- To act as a key role within Project Teams for key legislation implementation.
**Key skill set required**
- Strong experience of Compliance and Auditing processes
- Awareness of legislation relating to GDPR, Audit, modern slavery
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate (particularly Microsoft Office: Excel; PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational, prioritisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Articulate with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships
- Line management experience would be advantageous
- Some experience or understanding of the temporary labour market
