**We are currently looking for a proactive, ambitious Accounts Receivable Junior to join our finance team.**

The Harnham Group is the parent company of two businesses based in Wimbledon, and as we're expanding our London office, we are looking for someone new to help support our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Junior role would offer the opportunity to experiencethe inner-workings of an international company and to assist in various financial tasks.

We are looking for someone who will embrace the transactional focus of the role but who also wants to expand their knowledge in other areas, who can come in and make the role their own. The role would be fully remote (with the exception of some in-officetraining) until April and then transfer into a hybrid model.

**Duties**:
The job will include mainly **accounts receivable** but will also include some other finance assistant duties and has the potential to lead into a more varied role with some more responsibility.

In specific you can expect the following as part of your day to day:

- Accrued and deferred revenue management - ensuring revenue is recognised correctly on a monthly basis.
- Credit control - Monitoring the accounts receivable balances and following up on outstanding debt.
- Credit checks - Carrying out the credit checking process on new and prospective clients.
- Bank payment reconciliations - Identifying bank receipts and expenses and reconciling to Quickbooks.
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Great time-management and communication skills
- A high degree of flexibility
- An ability to work autonomously
- Experience with accounts payable
- Advanced EXCEL proficiency
- Experience using accountancy software (preferably QuickBooks)
