Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and financial administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping tasks
  • Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Help with VAT returns and other statutory compliance requirements
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis as required
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Requirements / Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a finance or accounting function
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
