Occasional travel to other properties will be required. **Salary package: £26,780.00 per year// Hotel discounts // Health cash back plan // Meals on duty // Pension scheme // Loyalty rewards and**referral**bonuses // many more** **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**: - Managing purchasing activities across the cluster, including placing orders, raising Purchase Orders (POs), and processing goods receipts using SAP. - Reviewing delivery notes and POs for accuracy and record any discrepancies related to pricing, quality or specifications. - Conducting regular stock checks and support month-end stock takes across cluster properties. - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in store areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. - Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality goods, while actively seeking cost-saving opportunities. - Providing support with administrative tasks and offer cover for Goods Receiving roles when needed. - Preparing reports on inventory, purchasing activities, and supplier performance; analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. - Regularly visiting cluster properties to ensure consistent support and alignment with operational needs. **What We’re Looking For**: - Previous experience in a purchasing, stores, or goods receiving role—hospitality or multi-site experience is a plus. - Familiarity with SAP or similar purchasing/financial systems. - Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. - Confident working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams. - Comfortable with occasional travel to properties across the UK. - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Physically capable of handling goods and maintaining store areas when required. **Because belonging to the great Meliá family is being VIP** - **Holidays**:28 days’ holiday including 8 public holidays - **Contributory pension scheme**: - **Discounted dental and health cover with HSF**: - **Great discounts with Melia Hotels Worldwide**:(Friends & families discounts) - **Personal Development**:**programs designed to support your career right from the start, with unlimited access to online learning platform - **Awards and Recognition Programs**:Join a culture of recognition and reward, with loyalty bonuses and referral incentives - **High street discounts**:**with Perks at Work - **Meals on duty, Payday Parties and Laundry** **At Meliá we are all VIP** Great professionals who make everyday life easier and exceptional.
