**Join Our Team as a Caretaker at Stanbridge Primary School**

**Start Date**:As soon as possible (December 2024)

**Salary**:Grade 11, £12.18 - £12.38 per hour (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £14,290.54 - £14,529.53 per annum)

**Contract**:Permanent, all year round

**Hours**:22.5 per week (Monday to Friday, either 7.30am-12.00pm or split shift 7.30am-10.30am and 3.30pm-5.00pm)

Under the general supervision of the School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the security, safety, and day-to-day maintenance of the school premises. This includes carrying out handyperson tasks, general repair work, and overseeing the school’s cleaning staff.
- Have a working knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Be experienced in repair and maintenance tasks
- Be able to prioritize and manage your own workload effectively
- Communicate well with school staff and external contractors
- Be motivated to make a real difference to the life of our school

**Fluency Duty**:
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide instructions, advice and guidance in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
