Mitutoyo are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team based at our Coventry UKAS Calibration Laboratory to support with the administration of the facility. Whilst predominately supporting the administration of our calibration laboratory the role requires flexibility to assist with day to day running of a busy facility, from covering reception to assisting warehouse with dispatch duties at peak periods/holiday cover.
**Responsibilities**
The successful applicant will assist with all administrative duties of the facility and Calibration Laboratory
- Prepare quotations.
- Data entry and order processing.
- Answer customer enquiries and advise progress.
- Generate calibration certificates.
- Assist with Warehouse duties when required.
- Assist with the management of the on-site pool car which includes, scheduling and booking of services/repairs etc, maintaining a mileage log and booking schedule etc.
They will also be required to assist with Front Desk and facility duties
- Maintain a professional and positive environment for our visitors and employees.
- Receive visitors when required at front desk, greet and direct as appropriate.
- Maintain office security (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls as appropriate.
- Organise catering when required.
- Help maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required, as requested by line manager.
**Requirements**:
Previous experience using Outlook, Excel and SAP would be desirable.
**Employment Type**
This is a full-time permanent position.
8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
