Our client are looking for a HR Coordinator to provide a high-quality service to the business that fulfils the short
- and long-term ambitions of the HR strategy.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Responsible for the timely response of all day-to-day administration queries, including the management of the HR inbox.
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers following clearly defined policies and processes e.g. probation, sickness absence etc
- Preparation of contracts and offer letters.
- Issuing new starter packs and ensuring all on-boarding activities are completed for all new joiners. Including right to work compliance checks.
- Updating the HR System with all employee changes and maintaining and auditing employee files.
- Data production and analysis e.g. review key people data such as new joiner feedback, exit questionnaires and monthly people report.
- Support with recruitment activities as and when required.
- Work closely with the wider HR team to support other HR & business priorities. - Ad hoc projects when required.
- Experience working in a HR environment.
- Previous experience for an IT or Technology business
- Ideally CIPD or higher education HR qualification (or working towards this)
- Previous HR System or ATS experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Most importantly you’ll have excellent oral / written English, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, as well as an analytical and inquisitive mindset. With great people skills, you'll be able to work well as part of a wider HR Team and have the ability to handle and work with sensitive and confidential information.
If you do not currently hold a CIPD, Support with a CIPD qualification if required is available.
Based in the Sheffield area, our client offers Hybrid working. You will be expected to attend the Sheffield office 2 days a week after probation.
