**Exciting 12-Month Opportunity - HR Assistant (Parental Leave Cover)**
**Location: Leatherhead Office ¦ HR Shared Services Team**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join the Wates Group on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This role sits within our dynamic HR Shared Services Team, based in our Leatherhead office.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, highly organised, and looking to build on their HR experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong administrative skills—ideally gained in an HR setting—and be confident using MS Office tools. Discretion and confidentiality are essential, as is a professional and proactive approach to your work.

We’re looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ideally, someone who is studying towards or already holds a CIPD or similar qualification.

**As HR Assistant, you will**:

- Provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle in a timely and customer-centric manner
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data across HR systems
- Support the HR team with project work and operational delivery
- Operate with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
