We have an exciting opportunity for a proven Product & Proposition Manager to join our team. The Product & Proposition Manager will work towards delivering improvements to existing products and bringing new products and propositions to market. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders including insurers alongside managing a small product & technical team. This role can be remote based, however there will be occasional requirements to be present in the Croydon office to support the team/business.
**The Role **
- Identify and implement new product and proposition development opportunities.
- Identify, develop and implement improvements to existing products and propositions
- Manage the implementation of new opportunities into the business, maximising potential and supporting long-term, profitable partnerships.
- Represent the business at presentations and site visits, contributing to the winning of new business and retention of existing partnerships by demonstrating our implementation capabilities.
- Provide the business link to insurer partners to support binder management, internal referrals, changes, renewal and agreement to new initiatives. Support the business with building product knowledge including managing referrals and training
- Product monitoring and adherence to product governance
- Manage and develop a team consisting of product and test analyst and technical delivery.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to bring product developments to market.
- Work closely with the marketing function to develop and manage key messaging and USPs
- Optimise commercial performance of products by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and/or reduce costs
- Work with software suppliers to ensure end to end delivery of product changes.
- Ensure products and propositions deliver excellent customer outcomes and value for money
- Minimum - 5 years' insurance industry experience.
- Proven experience of delivering existing and new product development alongside a clear understanding of the insurance market and the MGA
- Experience of working in a broker or insurer environment working with DUA's
- Knowledge of the insurance market and the MGA model alongside a understanding of commercial products, digital distribution and underwriting.
- Proven experience of Project Management/change and product lifecycle.
- Understanding of the regulatory issues surrounding the sale of insurance products and customer lifecycle management
- Understand the components of a marketing plan and the marketing mix.
- Knowledge of rating structure and rating frameworks.
- Collaborative approach with a Can do attitude and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Outstanding Planning and Organising skills with the ability to deliver solutions
- Minimum Cert CII and working towards Dip CII and beyond.
