We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our AHP Training team.

Led by the Director of Allied Health Professions (AHP) and the Lead for AHP Training and development. This department works towards improving and assuring the quality of pre and postgraduate AHP Training and CPD that is provided within the Trust. It aims to improve the recognition of the Trust as a Centre of Excellence for lifelong learning, fostering a culture of enthusiasm for excellent teaching and learning among all grades of AHPs.

The post holder will fulfil a key administration role to ensure the delivery of an effective AHP training service to the highest quality and standards in line with the requirements of the Trust, Health and Care Professions Council HCPC and Health Education England HEE.

In addition, the post holder will be the primary contact for our Trust Nurse Education CPD partners and will deal with all types of communication from NHS and non-NHS organisations and higher education which need responding to in a timely and efficient manner. The post holder will prioritise the work of the team according to the demands of the service, ensuring that AHP training and CPD is undertaken and effectively monitored.

What we do

We provide specialist NHS mental health and learning disability services in South East England.

We care for people at home, in hospital and through our community services. Our services are for people of all ages across Sussex. We also provide specialist mental health services for children and young people in Hampshire.

Our services are rated 'good' by the Care Quality Commission and 'outstanding' for caring.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered and some home working should be possible.

The post holder will be expected to build sustainable relationships with AHP Leads, internal and external clients, including stakeholders, to establish a smooth workflow around the delivery of training initiatives including high delivery of customer service at all times delivering compassion and excellence.

This role includes the development and maintenance of operating systems to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of data on training activity, training finance and expenditure, assurance via audit of training evaluations and feedback to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the training administration service in accordance with governance requirements.

The post holder will deliver administrative and ad hoc support to the AHP Education and Training department.
