An exciting opportunity exists to join The Spark as a Therapeutic Call Handler on our Counselling Helpline on a part time basis (14-21 hours per week).

The Counselling Helpline is an established support service and an integral part of The Spark’s early intervention strategy. The purpose of the job is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space to provide support to individuals and allow them time to discuss their problems.

As a therapeutic call handler, you will listen and provide emotional support without judgement, offering an opportunity to reflect on the caller’s situation, work through difficulties and explore feelings and signpost appropriately.

Please note that the service is delivered via telephone and the role is primarily based at our Head Office in Glasgow. There may be flexibility to accommodate some home working and shifts will include evening work.

**Salary**: £23,500.00-£26,250.00 per year
