The European Union (EU) Distressed Products Group is part of Global Financing & Credit Trading within Fixed Income & Currencies.

The desk operates as a market maker in the full suite of assets issued by distressed issuers, in its role as a liquidity provider between market participants.

In this role you will be responsible for managing relationships with clients and identifying distressed assets for the desk to trade. You will work closely with Traders and Desk Analysts to critically evaluate the trading opportunities and manage the complex process of a trade.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Responsible for Sourcing portfolios of distressed assets from clients looking to exit their position
- Work closely with and support the Trading & Desk Analysts to manage auction processes
- Develop relationships with potential holders of distressed assets to build Deutsche Bank’s franchise
- Drive the identification of potential new trades for the desk, driving discussion with traders/ desk analysts/ and downstream clients

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience in a client facing role, ideally in a coverage type function
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products
- Fluent in at least one additional European language would be beneficial
- Personal drive, proactive demeanour, and desire to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
