Credit Structuring works alongside Global Credit Financing & Solutions (GCFS) teams including Transport Infrastructure & Energy, Direct Lending, Asset Backed Securities (ABS) EU Credit Solutions, EU business to originate and execute transactions for these books that tend to be of a complex and structured nature. The team consists of product specific specialists, technical specialists, cross product Structurers and country specific Structurers.

You will join the team primarily for the GCFS business, with structuring experience in credit product origination, with particular focus on ABS across asset classes and jurisdictions, with extensive experience in approving credit related deals from an infrastructure, compliance, and risk perspective.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Structuring transactions involving variety of financial instruments (loans, bonds, credit guarantees and derivatives) and their various legal formats, with particular focus on ABS
- Working on financial resource drivers and structural features of the transactions, including cash-flow models and transaction documents
- Have deep/broad understanding of regulatory capital, accounting, legal and tax impacts of transactions and working with trading, client and structuring to ensure appropriate treatment of transactions
- Obtaining internal approvals, engaging with coverage and clients on origination, including drafting of term sheets
- Leading execution of transactions end-to-end including origination, approvals, and review of legal documentation

**Your skills and experience**
- Strong financial modelling/ analytics skills with experience of undertaking credit due diligence for single name corporate credit, pools of corporate credit and/or retail exposures that are secured and unsecured
- Understanding of bond mathematics and credit markets
- Strong fundamental skills (numbers, transactions, risk management and structuring)
- Ability to spot key risk/deal issues, how to mitigate these issues and be willing to justify views to key stakeholders
- Identifying solutions and managing risk. Ability to think creatively across industries, structures, and risk profiles. Experience in structured finance/banking, understanding of corporate finance and ABS
