Our client, a world-class prestigious automotive manufacturer, is recruiting a Procurement Development Analyst to be responsible for gathering data to define and develop the Procurement controls, measures and reports to ensure delivery of targets, and supportin presenting the function's and supply base's performance, through KPI's to improve and make our processes more efficient and leaner.

**Key Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Working with the Manager in defining, scoping, coordinating data that will be used in cross-functional workstreams
- Co-ordinate the Procurement function's involvement in transformative programs and strategies, developing robust controls, measures, and review cycles to ensure objectives and key KPI's metrics are on track.
- Ensure the Procurement department is fully compliant with the legislative requirements and that internal standards and policies are adhered to.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop a Supplier Scorecard to evaluate Procurement's current supply base, through quantitative and qualitative measures
- Using supplier performance data (Supplier Scorecard), develop strategic approaches to strengthening and transitioning the supply base
- Develop and maintain a monthly management report, core governance reporting for Procurement.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous Procurement / Analyst experience
- Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work and communicate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge in running KPI's and measuring performance - strong analysis skills required.
- Must be highly computer literate, specifically in use of Excel to manage and manipulate large volumes of data from multiple sources. Ability to automate and link charts, run pivot tables and develop advanced nested functions is essential. Knowledge of Macroswould be an advantage.
- Educated to Degree level, preferably in line with the role requirements
- CIPS certification is advantageous but not a necessity
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
