Inventory Planner

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced **Inventory Planner **to join us on a **full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract**working on the **08.00-16.00** at our **Sales & Distribution division**on site in **Banbury.** In return, you will receive a **competitive salary** plus great benefits.

**As an Inventory Planner, your duties will include**:

- Negotiating with and buying stock from suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained and that all customer orders can be fulfilled, but ensuring that we do not overstock
- Work alongside other departments to ensure that orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure customer demands are met and forecasting additional stock requirements
- Investigate and report any stock discrepancies to the supplier and raise/complete quality incidence reports as required
- Maintain professional working relationships with suppliers and customers at all times

**What we are looking for in our Inventory Planner**:

- You will already have experience of buying stock/stock control
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to effortlessly to communicate at all levels
- You will be highly numerate and be focused on accuracy, being correct first time
- You will have experience of working within a busy warehouse environment
- You will have excellent time management skills, being able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure ensuring deadlines are met and customer expectations are managed
